Lola's Styled Session at the Art Museum

Lola | Beachwood HS 2024

This was the trifecta of sessions, gorgeous outfit, amazing location, and stunning senior! It literally was a dream shoot that I didn’t want to end!

Meet Lola, a Beachwood High School 2024 Senior and a member of the SHP Model Team. For Lola’s model team styled session, we styled her in this champagne colored, custom Pollardi gown. This gown is part of a Traveling Dress collaboration between myself and other photographer’s from across the United States. We purchase this gorgeous, custom gown together and then each photographer gets their turn working their magic with it before sending it to the next photographer in line.

For Lola’s styled shoot, we wanted to keep it very modern and elegant. We styled her with delicate jewelry from Kendra Scott and Steve Madden shoes, keeping both Lola and the gown as the main focus. Lola’s hair was slicked back on top with soft, curls in back, very Hollywood-esc. Lola truly transformed into a modern day Cinderella the moment she put on this gown.

I could have photographed Lola in this gown anywhere, but to have the opportunity to shoot in front of some of the most beautiful art in the world was truly magical. We started in front of Claude Monet’s Water Lilies, which was hard to pull me away from. From there we headed to the Louis XV Savonnerie Carpet with Royal Arms. The colors of this carpet made for a stunning backdrop. Two of my other favorite rooms were The Muses and the Armor Rooms. It was all truly breathtaking!

Even with all this incredible artwork, one of the most cherished places for Lola’s mom was the spot where she met her husband, Lola’s dad. I hadn’t realized that’s where they met until after we started shooting there, but I made sure to get a few extra special shots.

Lola’s mom knew every detail about every piece at the museum which made this entire experience that much more special. This is a session that I will always cherish. I hope Lola and her mom will as well!
